Aurélie is a project I'm working on along with other creatives in the commercial photo industry that will be soft-launched in Q1 2024.

The initial plan is beautiful Kodak film photographs of models which will be original and exclusive content to Aurélie. I am using Toronto's new premier film lab Graination for all film scans at the highest quality level (LOG scans)

Furthermore, these scans will not have retouching. True film photographs as captured by the camera that are timeless. The only adjustments allowed are part of the film scanning process being colour correction and global density levels for shadows and highlights.

A very small 'micro-run' print magazine is planned later in the year with a focus on the study in lighting and film photography. This will be a magazine that not only produces beautiful film photographs of models, but also shares how the image was shot - giving a substantial value to reader.

There will also be workshops and training along with other plans including signed prints, events and more.

Aurélie will also encapsulate and share everything I'm passionate about including but not limited to typography, interior design, flowers, antiquarian books, filmmaking, camera and lighting equipment, interviews with models and of course the study of aesthetic lighting.
